100g softened butter
160g light brown sugar
100g self-raising flour
50g ground almonds
3ml bicarbonate of soda
60ml cocoa powder
Ice cream , cream and caramel sauce for serving
Combine all the ingredients in the bowl of the electric mixer . With the K beater, beat until well combined. Divide the mixture into 8 well greased muffin cups. Bake at 180C for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cakes comes out clean. Cool slightly.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
