Craving pasta? Try this quick and easy Friday night supper. The combination of pasta and the creamy lemon sauce is sure to satisfy most cravings.
300g pasta of your choice. I like to use linguini or spaghetti
180ml fresh cream
5ml crushed garlic
60-80ml lemon juice
180ml freshly grated Parmesan cheese
A handful mixed baby herbs or chopped basil
Salt and black pepper
Boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water until cooked al dente.
Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Add the cream and garlic to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the lemon juice and Parmesan and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coats the pasta. Season to taste and add more lemon juice to suit your taste. I like mine very lemony.
Stir in the herbs just before serving with some extra grated Parmesan
