Cashew yoghurt- Dairy free

This is a great alternative to dairy yoghurt if you’re looking for one that doesn’t require a yoghurt maker. This one is flavored with cinnamon and coconut milk. Adapted from Deliciously Ella.

Dairy free yoghurt

1/2 cup raw almonds

1/2 cup raw cashews

2 cups water

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup full cream coconut milk

6-8 fresh dates

1 probiotic capsule

First, you will need to soak the almonds and cashews in the water for a minimum of 4 hours. Drain them and put them in the blender with the coconut milk, empty out the probiotic capsule, dates, and cinnamon. Blend for a few minutes until creamy and smooth add a few tablespoons of water if needed. Taste and adjust if needed.

Store in the fridge in an airtight container. Keeps for 2 days. When you are ready to eat, simply top it with your favourite fruit such as raspberries and coconut flakes or your muesli. Enjoy
