Welcome! We are a mom and daughter who love food, eating and cooking. Based in Johannesburg we love traveling to foodie destinations and use our experiences to inspire our cooking at home. We love experimenting in the kitchen using fresh seasonal produce. We created this site so we could share our passion for all things delicious.
I am Jenny Kay, an experienced cook, recipe developer and former editor of The Angela Day food column in The Star newspaper. I am also the co-author of 7 cookbooks and love food styling and developing recipes. I have worked in the food industry for more than 30 years and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge through teaching.
I am Amy Kay, I am a preschool teacher during the day but having grown up in a family of cooks, food is an integral part of my life. I love baking and experimenting with different ingredients from chia seeds to quinoa. I consider chocolate to be a food group and breakfast is my favourite meal of the day.
